I always find it interesting to discover who the people behind the accomplishments really are. Inventors, artists, scientists, politicians, self-made millionaires, authors, etc. The conclusion that I’ve come to is that there’s no real common aspect to their backgrounds except for getting motivated to do the thing that they became known for and finding a way to do it.

For me, I feel like I’ve stretched myself thin doing/experiencing as much as possible. Maybe this is out of a fear of missing out on some hidden passion that I may have or maybe it’s because everything eventually gets redundant to me.

In my early thirties, I’ve found that I’ve matured to a point that has allowed me to really appreciate the little things. Going for walks with my wife around a lake, watching the clouds pass by to reveal the stars in the night sky, putting a fresh corn on the squirrel feeder and watching them clean it off in the morning sun.

This appreciation with the little things has motivated me to create. I started with pencil, paper, and YouTube. Hours and hours of YouTube. It turned into an iterative process; watch a video, create some art, find out that I can’t figure out how to do something, watch another video, repeat.

I’ve realized that what I enjoy doing is to simply “learn”. Creating art and improving and learning as I go has been an amazing experience. I have a lot of ideas for future projects and will eventually add more websites to promote and share those things. So please bookmark this page and check back in regularly for more content!
